Shahid & Ranveer Finalized For Ram Lakhan Remake?

Here’s the latest buzz from the B-town! Shahid Kapoor has been finalized to play ‘Ram’ in the official remake of 1989 blockbuster Ram Lakhan, whereas Ranveer Singh has been locked to play ‘Lakhan’.

While Hrithik Roshan, Sidharth Malhotra and Ranbir Kapoor were strong contenders for the Ram’s role, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh were in the wishlist for essaying Lakhan’s role out of which Ranveer was the first choice.

Even the original Lakhan, Anil Kapoor had recently told media that Ranveer Singh is perfect for Lakhan’s role.

Coming to the female leads, the makers have decided to cast fresh faces for the role Dimple Kapadia and Madhuri Dixit.

The film will be directed Rohit Shetty and will be produced under the banner of Dharma Productions.
