Aamir Khan, who has been empowering the Indian audiences with his show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ Season 2, is currently being hailed as the social savior. If this was any less, he was also approached by the Election commission to become the voting mascot and urge people to vote.
While the actor is being lauded for all this, a family in Bandra is highly upset with the actor and has filed a complaint against him stating that Aamir has been ‘forcing’ to procure the flats in a Pali Hill residential society to make way for his own bungalow.
According to resident, Dr. Pamela De Sa and her daughter Dr. Geneve De Sa, the managing committee of their building is forcing them to sell 60% of their house area to Aamir.
The society in question, Virgo Co-operative Housing society, comprises of two buildings Bella Vista and Marina Apartments. Aamir Khan currently owns 2 flats in Marina and 1 in Bella Vista. Apparently, Aamir made an offer to the residents under which a number of members should be willing to sell their housing area so that Aamir can procure at least 20,000 sq ft of carpet area and for those unwilling to do so, the actor has offered to build a separate building on the remaining plot.
There has been no confirmation about this property fiasco from Aamir’s side. Only time will tell where this issue is headed for.
