Iron Man 3’s opening day collections in India were smashing. The movie collected a total of 7.25 crores on Friday (Day 1) at the Indian Box Office. This is a fantastic figure and second highest of any Hollywood movie in India.
Considering the target audience for the film, the collections are indeed huge, although, it couldn’t break The Amazing Spiderman’s record. The Amazing Spiderman broke the record in 2012 of being the Biggest Hollywood Opener in India (8.50 Crores).
Major Cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore etc witnessed excellent occupancy for afternoon and evening shows. Iron Man 3 is doing decent business in South India, where the film released in dubbed languages.
Robert Downey Jr’s latest outing as Iron Man is surely a hit with his Indian fans. The content of the film is being appreciated. It will pick up on Saturday and Sunday.
