Yes, the film had a good pre-release buzz around itself, but the way it has been translated into numbers is simply superb. In fact, Prithvi has registered the biggest opening of his career, and in terms of Malayalam films, it’s one of the biggest openings of all time. Day 1 worldwide collection of Aadujeevitham
Boosted by solid pre-sales, Aadujeevitham marked a fantastic start at the worldwide box office. In India, the film did a business of 7.50 crores net. Including taxes, the amount goes up to 8.85 crores gross. In the overseas market, too, The Goat Life has opened on a sensational note, collecting 7.25 crores in gross. Combining both Indian and overseas gross, the day 1 total stands at 16.10 crores gross.

With 16.10 crores gross in the kitty on opening day, Aadujeevitham has become the biggest worldwide opener in the career of Prithviraj Sukumaran. Also, it has emerged as the 4th biggest opener of all time in the history of Malayalam cinema. While the number is already huge, it could have been much bigger if the film had been cleared by the censor board in the GCC countries.
Malayalam films enjoy a huge market in the UAE and GCC countries, and in the past, we have seen a major chunk of overseas business of Mollywood releases coming from these centers. Aadujeevitham is currently playing in just UAE, and it could have even touched the 20 crore milestone in the presence of the GCC countries.
Set to join 100 crore global club
Already, Manjummel Boys and Premalu have crossed the 100 crore mark this year, and with strong momentum, Aadujeevitham will comfortably join the list. Speaking about all time, it is aiming to become the 6th Malayalam film to cross 100 crores globally.
