We witnessed two new launches on Star Plus – P.O.W Bandi Yuddh Ke and Pardes Mein Hai Meraa Dil! It is safe to say Star Plus is surely moving in the #NayiSoch direction with these two shows! While Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil has a romantic setting to it, P.O.W Bandi Yuddh Ke touches the emotional chord.

We have Drashti Dhami playing the role of Naina Batra, and Arjun Bijlani playing the role of Raghav Raheja in Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil. The show looks to be promising, with the premise being of coincidental love. Two strangers who keep bumping into each other, but will they realize they are made for each other? One will surely have to watch out! The cast looks fresh, and is here to redefine romance!

P.O.W Bandi Yuddh Ke – Strong & hard-hitting, just like the promos! The story about two prisoners – Naib Subedar Sartaaj Singh and Squadron Leader Imaan Khan, and how their life comes to a standstill. They return to their homes after 17 years, after being held captive by the Pakistani Army after the Kargil War.

Their wives lead their lives in uncertainty for 17 years, while the government is uncertain about Sartaaj Singh and Imaan Khan’s intentions. What is in store for them? Not to forget, Sandhya Mridul, Amrita Puri, Purab Kohli and Satyadeep Mishra have been beautiful cast, and are perfect to the T!
