Sanjivani 2: Surbhi Chandna & Namit Khanna’s Bitter-Sweet Love Story Will Definitely Remind You Of Dill Mill Gayye

Sanjivani 2 is an official reboot of the original Sanjivani which came in 2002 and instantly became a hit. The original cast had Mihir Mishra, Mohnish Bahl, Gurdeep Kohli and Rupali Ganguly whereas the new cast have Surbhi Chandna, Namit Khanna, Mohnish Bahl and Sayantani Ghosh. The show has already created a buzz around the corner and we couldn’t wait for it to go on air on August 12, 2019.

Star Plus has finally released the promo for the upcoming show and looks like this bitter-sweet love story will definitely remind you of Karan Singh Grover’s Dill Mill Gayye. Check out the promo here:

And why we say so, is because of the background music that plays in the end of the promo which happens to be the title song of ‘Dill Mill Gaye’. Yes, it’s ‘Hum to chale the dost banne’ which we have hummed during all our teenage days.

Speaking of the show, Surbhi Chandna will be seen after the super successful innings of ‘Ishqbaaaz’ in a refrishingly new role of Dr. Ishani opposite Namit Khanna who will be playing the role of Dr. Sid followed by Dr. Vardhan aka Rohit Roy and Dr. Anajli aka Sayantani Ghosh. Mohnish Bahl is one of the protagonists from the original show named Dr. Shashank Gupta.

Sanjivani 2 is one of the most anticipated dramas of television as it is returning after 17 years and fans are going gaga over the new cast.
