Sometimes celebrities get really offended during the interviews if you ask them something off the topic. Something similar happened with Robert Downey Jr aka Iron Man while he was promoting Avengers: Age Of Ultron. He walked out of the interview calling the journalist a ‘bottom-feeding muckraker”.

Yes, you read that right. Krishnan Guru-Murthy of Channel 4 was interviewing Robert before the release of Avengers: Age Of Ultron when this incident took place. Guru is a pretty renowned journalist and this isn’t the first time when someone walked out of his interview. He asks some really nerve-wracking questions which the celebrities don’t like and hence they choose not to answer. Once when he was interviewing Oscar-nominated filmmaker, Quentin Tarantino he asked something that offended him and said, “I’m shutting your butt down.”

When Robert Downey Jr. AKA Iron Man Walked Out Of An Interview & Called The Journalist “A Bottom Feeding Muckraker”

Guru asked Downey, “The reason I’m asking you about your past is you’ve talked in other interviews about your relationship with your father and the role in all of that of the dark periods you went through, taking drugs and drinking and all of that. I just wondered whether you think you’re free of all of that or whether that’s something…”

Robert cuts him off and asks Guru, “What are we doing? Are we promoting a movie?” and walks out of the interview. Later, talking to radio host Howard Stern, Downey revealed that he has absolutely no regrets of walking out of that interview. I just wish I’d left sooner,” he said. Robert added, “What I have to do in the future is … give myself permission to say, ‘That is more than likely a syphilitic parasite, and I need to distance myself from this clown.’ Otherwise, I’m probably going to put hands on somebody, and then there’s a real story.”
