When Amber Heard Termed Divorce Rumours With Johnny Depp As ‘Horrible Misrepresentations’

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp met on the sets of The Rum Diary (2009). The couple soon fell in love and made a lot of noise with their relationship. They finally made the big move when they got hitched in 2015. However, things fell apart and they split within a year. Their divorce battle is on-going in the Virginia court.

With new developments coming in every day, it seems like years that the couple separated. There have been so many updates ever since their split. Amber accused her ex-husband of domestic violence and physical assault. Johnny, in reaction, slapped a $50 million lawsuit on the Aquaman actress.

But there was a time when both were more than happy together. Amber Heard flashed that huge rock during paparazzi moments before they tied the knot in a beach wedding. However, rumours around trouble in paradise began soon after their marriage. There were several media portals reporting the same. But the actress once quashed it all.

During a conversation with Marie Claire, Amber was asked if she and Johnny Depp were facing trouble in their marriage. To this, she replied, “I try not to react to the horrible misrepresentations of our lives. But it is strange and hard.”

The Justice League actress while talking about their marriage added, “It is an honor and the greatest, most surprising gift I have ever received in my life. I feel new flavors that I didn’t know existed; new colors that I didn’t know of have been added to my life. I’m so happy.”

Little did they know things would turn upside down. Amber Heard filed for divorce back in 2016. The actress was linked with James Franco and Elon Musk soon amid divorce proceedings with Johnny Depp.
