Thor fame Chris Hemsworth is on board with National Geographic for a unique concept. The actor is all set to swim with sharks in the show Shark Beach. He is up to decode how humans can coexist with them. Confused? Well, let us break down that for you. Below is all you need to know.
Diving into the Sharkfest, Avengers star Chris Hemsworth will be leading a special edition of Net Geo for 2021. With Shark Beach, we will get to see our mighty Thor, interact with a marine biologist, shark advocates, conservationists and others in Australia. He will be discussing the increased shark attacks and the possibilities of co-existence.
As per a report in The Hollywood Reporter, Chris Hemsworth said, “I’ve spent a great deal of my life near or in the ocean, sharing the same backyard with sharks, and recently there’s been some growing concern regarding an increase in shark activity.”
“It’s crucial that we both revere and respect sharks. Our oceans depend on these apex predators for a biodiverse ecosystem; however, we must also learn how to protect ourselves, and that’s my main objective in Shark Beach,” Chris Hemsworth added.
In Shark Beach, we will catch Chris swimming alongside various species of sharks. He will be discussing measures to avoid shark attacks and also talk about their protection. Produced by Nutopia, the show will have Chris Hemsworth as the executive producer as well.
