Captain America actor Chris Evans has been a classic dog dad and posts pictures with Dodger regularly. Recently, he had announced on Twitter that his Dodger had undergone surgery and posted two cute pictures of himself cuddling with his rescue dog Dodger.
The actor, posting the two pictures, captioned it, “Surgery day! Just dropped him off. Picking him up tomorrow morning. If today is any indication, I’m going to be a VERY nervous parent.”
Chris Evans had also revealed about his health during an interview with 3rd Hour of Today. He said, “He’s doing too well. There’s supposed to be a six-week recovery. After one week, he was ready to go, flying around the house and that’s been the biggest challenge; trying to get him to stay calm and not overexert himself. But the doctor did a phenomenal job and he’s recovering incredibly quickly and, yeah, hopefully in the next couple weeks he’ll be flying around like he did five/six years ago.”

Internet is filled with fun Dodge content over the last couple of years. The adorable duo had first met during the filming the movie Gifted. It was a rescue pup and a last scene of the movie was shot at a shelter. Initially, the actor didn’t realize that the dogs wasn’t show pups and were only hired for the scene. When he came to know the pup is for adoption, Evans adopted and even documented their first meeting and posted it on Twitter.
The actor even talked about his recent site launch to 3rd Hour of Today. He claims that the website aims to be an entirely bipartisan source and provides accurate political facts without any sort of opinions.
While talking to PEOPLE, Chris Evans said, “It’s not that I’m specifically drawn to politics. It’s just when you look around, you try to figure out how can you help. You have to use your platform to do more than just retweet things.”
