Some shows create history and the fan following only grows even after years when it gets over. Breaking Bad is a perfect example of what a great show with great content looks like. Starring Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul in the lead roles, the series started in 2008 and ended in 2013.

A lot of fans think Breaking Bad ended in an apt way. However, many are of the opinion that the makers should’ve shown more of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman’s journey. But there’s a big reason why show’s creator Vince Gilligan decided to end the show after season 5.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Vince Gilligan had shared, “I pushed harder than anyone for it to end when it did. You know, as someone making money on the show, in very crass, basic terms, I would have loved for it to go on forever. But I had worked on The X-Files for years before that. I was such a fan of the show when I got involved, and I had such a good time being a writer on it. For seven years, I was on it.”
