After making a 47 Crore week at the domestic box office, Student of the Year has now entered its 2nd week with 2.25 Crores on Friday. The movie’s domestic box office total now stands at 49.25 Crores nett. In addition to this, the movie has also made about 11.50 Crores at the overseas box office.
The movie is expected to see a good jump on Saturday and Sunday. A 2nd weekend of 10 Crores should be good for SOTY. This is without a doubt a huge achievement for the newcomers Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. This is the perfect Bollywood break they could have asked for. Karan Johar sure knows his job.
