Satyagraha, made a business of about 5.30 crores in its 2nd weekend at the Domestic Box Office. The movie dropped in its second weekend, what with raking in 1.30 crores on 2nd Friday, 1.70 crores on 2nd Saturday and approx 2.30 crores on 2nd Sunday, taking its domestic total so far to 60.30 crores at the Box Office.
The movie performed good in Delhi/UP, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal. Single Screens as well as Multiplexes, both made an average business. This Prakash Jha directorial could have done a better business in its 2nd week, had it not faced the clashing and screen crunch with new releases namely – Shuddh Desi Romance and Zanjeer.
