Saala Khadoos starring R Madhavan and newbie Ritika Singh has taken a low start on its opening day. The film opened with an occupancy of 10% for the morning shows. It had a decent opening in Mumbai and is expected to mainly perform there and in South, as Maddy has a good fan following down south.

A lot depends on word of mouth for this film since it hasn’t been promoted extensively. Since Rajkumar Hirani is the producer, there are chances that audiences may flock to the theaters with high hopes. Releasing with Mastizaade which is of a completely different genre, Saala Khadoos does have a chance to get ahead if the content is good.
