October Box Office Day 2 Early Trends: Takes A MASSIVE Jump!

October Box Office Day 2: Varun Dhawan with his each and every film has done nothing but expanding his fan base. For what was just young girls has now became everyone after his performances. Shoojit Sircar’s October target multiplex audience which Varun never did with any of his films before. Yes, Badlapur was the one but even that movie was commercial.

October collected 5.04 crores on its 1st day at the box office. Though the collections were decent for the movie but considering it as a Varun Dhawan film everyone expected more. This became Varun Dhawan’s lowest opening day grosser compared to the first day of his previous films.

But, the magic has been unveiled one the second day and the movie has shown an excellent jump. As per early trends flowing in, the movie has collected in the range of 7-8 crores on its day 2. This is a huge percentage of jump comparing with the first day.

After a little bit of let-down the movie has showed first ray of hope with this jump. Further jump of Sunday will ensure the movie to clock in 20 crore weekend which will be superb for it. Monday holds the real key and October has to pass the acid test to prove how it can trend well.

A 4 crore+ Monday and It’ll join the list of well trending films of this year. It seems Varun Dhawan has finally being pulling his extended fan base to the theaters.

On asking Shoojit Sircar about the film recently, he said, “It is a very simple film. After the trailer we’ve been getting responses like it is intriguing, thriller or suspense film, there is nothing like that, it is a very simple story. Not a love story, but it is a story about love.”

October is written by Juhi Chaturvedi and produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar under Rising Sun Films banner and it released on April 13.
