We had to wait six months to get the first 100 crore film of the year. Tanu Weds Manu Returns recently became the highest grosser of the year and also the film to have the highest ROI or Return On Investment.
The film which was made on a mere budget of 31 crores manages to make a massive collection of 137 crores, thus taking its profit percentage to 341%, the highest of the year. This is the second time a Kangana Ranaut film has made the highest profiit ranking after Queen last year.

Second to TWMR is Anushka Sharma starrer NH10 which has made a profit percentage of 146% with a return on investment of 19 crores. Deepika Padukone’s Piku and Gulshan Devaiah’s Hunterrr follow up on the third and fourth positions.
