Issaq saw a minimal growth on its 1st Sunday as the film went on to make an income of 1.05 crores on the concluding day of its opening weekend. With that the film’s total collections now stands at 3 crores at the domestic box office.

Manish Tiwary’s artistic retelling of Shakespearean tragedy Romeo and Juliet did not specifically go down well with the audiences who found the film’s screenplay excessively inconsistent. With bad reviews from most critics, Issaq cannot be expected to soar at the box office, in its 1st week.
