Bollywood was blessed with a series of big hits and cult classic films in the year 1985. From Raj Kapoor directorial Ram Teri Ganga Maili to Amitabh Bachchan starrer Mard, many films roared at the Box Office and proved to be highly profitable for the filmmakers.

Rishi Kapoor & Dimple Kapadia’s Saagar also released in 1985 and did very good business. Apart from these, Mithun Chakraborty’s films also struck gold and two of his movies managed to stand in Top 5.
