Furious 7 has not only emerged as the Highest Opener of any Hollywood film in India, but has also beaten 2015’s Hindi film’s record.

Overtaking Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez’s Roy, which so far stood as 2015’s Highest Opener with 10.40 crores nett, this Hollywood flick has collected 12.30 crores on Day 1 i.e. on Thursday.

Even a film starring Akshay Kumar – (Baby) collected 9.30 crores and couldn’t make it to this mark, despite creating much more buzz around its release!

The collections of the film’s Hindi & English version is around 11-11.30 crores, while its Telugu and Tamil version has raked in approx 1 crores.
