Avengers: Infinity War Box Office: Beats Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots In Two Weeks!

It seems that Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War is not stopping anytime soon. The film is winning hearts of the audiences and its box office numbers are a proof. Now, it has successfully achieved other milestones too. Avengers: Infinity War has crossed the 200 crore mark and it has also surpassed the lifetime collections of Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots at the Indian box office.

Fans are going gaga over the film in the country. Looking at the run, we are sure that it might break some more records.

Talking about the box office, Avengers: Infinity War collected 47.30 crore in its 2 week. The film now stands at the total of 203.94 crore. Whereas Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots had collected 202 crore at the Indian box office. Well, this is just the 2nd week; we wonder what’s there on the platter next!

Apart from this, the film had surpassed Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2 to become the 2nd Highest Grossing film of 2018 after Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat.

Despite being released on a non-holiday, and in over 2000 screens, the film recorded a mind-blowing occupancy of 80-100%, the highest for any film in India in 2018. Also, it had taken the highest opening day collection for 2018 beating out Baaghi 2, which had a much wider release.

The film features an ensemble of 22 superheroes including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Spiderman and many more. The film also talks at length about the 6 infinity stones, something that the the studio had only given us a peek of in previous films.
