2 States: 4th Monday Box Office Collections

2 States which crossed over into the 100 crore club, joining it as the 28th entrant of the club, still continues to earn bucks at the box office. On its 4th Monday, the film added another 55 lacs to its earning, shooting up the total income to 102.55 crores so far at the domestic box office.

The only competition to this film right now is Hollywood flick The Amazing Spiderman 2 which has been grabbing the former’s crowd in the urban centres and multiplexes. The repeat audiences for this breezy film is heavy with the young college going folk still flocking in at the theatres to give the film another view.

Since the film’s subject spreads beyond a regular rom-com affair, it is even being viewed by families together. A cross cultural love affair, the significant point of the film is its lead pair’s chemistry. Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor who were almost labelled as an item before the film’s release, witnessed their first stupendous success with this movie.

One can expect 2 States to run considerably well for this week collecting in meager lacs. Despite making over 100 crores, it isn’t possible for the film to beat Salman Khan starrer Jai Ho‘s lifetime collections at the box office.
