Akshay Kumar – Forbes’ Highest Paid Indian Celebrity of 2019 was once upon a time paid just to get stay in coma, return only to get beaten up again – can you imagine? Yes, that happened with the actor and he’s spilling out beans that y’all can’t miss out on!

In a conversation with entertainment portal Pinkvilla, the actor opened up about one of his movies, Jaani Dushman: Ek Anoki Kahani (2002) where he was supposed to die but since the dates for another actor wasn’t available, he was asked to continue the shoot and get paid on per day basis. “The director then called me and my character was put in a coma and then I return and get beaten up again. So basically I got money to get beaten up. This is the movie where there are snakes and all,” revealed the actor during Mission Mangal promotions!

Well, Akki has undoubtedly come a long long way and we hope the long run continues!

Meanwhile, the actor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie, Mission Mangal, which also stars Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu & Nithya Menen as the female leads.

Sonakshi Sinha made everyone’s jaws drop during a media interaction when she knocked him over from his chair. It turned out to be a prank by Akshay and Sonakshi.

The actress shared the moment on Instagram Stories.

In the video, Akshay is seen sitting beside her and talking to a journalist about “Mission Mangal“. He then moves a bit to adjust his chair and pushes it slightly backwards. It is then when Sonakshi gives a slight nudge to Akshay’s chest, making him topple off his chair!
