Join UsEver since Vidya Balan found her fashion saviour in Sabyasachi’s saris, we’ve had very little to complain about. Gone are the tacky leggings, lace jackets and ill fitting kaftans, and say hello to gorgeous anarkalis and saris to die for. However, all these took a backseat when Vidya Balan had to promote her upcoming film, Kahaani, in which she plays a woman who is seven months pregnant.
The diligent star stayed true to her character and carried her cute little baby bump around town. Did Vidya manage to make it fashionable even with the tummy? Check out the pics and tell us…
On the sets of Kahaani, Vidya wore a sleeved shirt over an apron-like dress, and from the looks of it, she carries the same look almost throughout the film.
Now the promotional team of Kahaani sure must have saved their coffers by sticking to the same or similar clothes on Vidya! The backpack and huge glasses remain her constant companions.
Heck, they didn’t even get Vidya to change her shoes for this one!
For once, Vidya gave a rest to those long stuffy dresses and went for a “cooler” look with tunic and a pair of jeans.
If the shoes can be repeated, why can’t the dress? Vidya’s dress is the same as that in the first pic!
Maybe next time, they can spice up the wardrobe for Ms. Balan! What do you think of Vidya as the yummy mummy?
