Join UsRecently, there were rumours that Shah Rukh Khan will soon be finalising his next Bollywood project. It was said that he’ll start working on his next project by June this year but according to the latest development, the actor has postponed the plan as he doesn’t feel like working on any film as of now.
Shah Rukh, who was last seen in Beijing for 9th Beijing International Film Festival gave an interview there and mentioned that right now he is not working on any film. He said usually it takes 3-4 months for him to start working on a new project but this time he doesn’t feel like, his heart is not allowing.
He feels he should take time to analyse things, on what went wrong and meanwhile watch movies, listen to stories, read books and take more time out to spend with kids. He said, “This time, I didn’t feel like doing it. I thought, this time, I will take out time to watch films and listen to scripts and read books. My kids are also doing finishing their college life. Suhana is still in college, Aryan will hopefully pass his college in a year. I want to spend more time with my family.”

There were reports that in June he will start filming his next project but now he says he hasn’t made the decision. He will make it when he genuinely feels like. He further said that I act from the bottom of my heart and right now, my heart is not letting me make a decision. Khan added, “I said somewhere that I might decide in June about my next project. But I won’t even do it in June, I will only do a film when I feel like doing it from my heart. I only act when it comes from my heart, but this time I don’t feel like doing it. A lot of people are telling me stories, I’ve heard 15-20 stories, I liked 2-3 of them. But I haven’t decided yet which film to do. Because the moment I take a decision, I will have to start working on films. I will completely be engrossed in it.”

Shah Rukh has been in talks with various directors and has heard around 15-20 stories and has liked a few but hasn’t started working on any. He added that mentally he has made a note but emotionally still not prepared. He said, “I won’t do anything for 2-3 months. There are a few stories that are good, but I have not taken a decision emotionally. Mentally, I know it’s good. But I haven’t decided anything yet.”
After the failure of Zero at the box office, Shah Rukh has become extra cautious with the scripts and has turned a few films also because of the same reason.
