The Baby Doll singer had travelled back from London around 10 days ago and ignored the quarantine instructions given by officials. Various celebrities poured in wishes for a speedy recovery but it is now Sonam Kapoor who’s being bashed for defending her former’s act.
For the unversed, while Kanika Kapoor in a recent interview claimed to be a part of only one get together post her return, pictures and videos from several other gatherings have surfaced online. It was her reckless behaviour towards COVID-19 and its consequences that made her face the social media ire, but Sonam Kapoor has a rather different take.
The Zoya Factor actress yesterday took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “Hey guys @TheKanikakapoor came back on the 9th. India was not self isolating but playing Holi.”
