Kanika Kapoor has turned out to be the first Bollywood personality to be hit by Coronavirus. The Baby Doll singer had travelled back from London around 10 days ago and ignored the quarantine instructions given by officials. Various celebrities poured in wishes for a speedy recovery but it is now Sonam Kapoor who’s being bashed for defending her former’s act.
For the unversed, while Kanika Kapoor in a recent interview claimed to be a part of only one get together post her return, pictures and videos from several other gatherings have surfaced online. It was her reckless behaviour towards COVID-19 and its consequences that made her face the social media ire, but Sonam Kapoor has a rather different take.
The Zoya Factor actress yesterday took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “Hey guys @TheKanikakapoor came back on the 9th. India was not self isolating but playing Holi.”
