Sonakshi Sinha: I Am Not Scared Of Doing Item Numbers

Just one movie old and Sonakshi Sinha is already dictating her terms! Unlike other newbies in the industry, Sonakshi actually dictates the terms when she signs her film contracts. For Race 2, she put her foot down that there would be no bikini scenes, no kissing and no steamy scenes. And filmmakers Abbas-Mastan let her have her way too!

If you remember Race, you’ll know that Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif had some very hot and steamy scenes in super short dresses in the film. But looks like ‘Shotgun Junior’ is so much in demand that she’s getting filmmakers bend the rules for her.

But Sonakshi, who is currently shooting with Akshay Kumar for Joker, is also ready to loosen the strings when needed. In a recent event, the Dabangg girl clarified, “I’m not scared of doing item numbers. The (item) songs that have been coming out are really good. I was comfortable in the dress and the dance moves during the stage shows. It all depends on my comfort level.” And what about news of her replacing Katrina Kaif – in endorsements and in films? “I am not replacing anyone; I am just filling up the space that was empty for a while now.”
