Sidharth Malhotra Reveals His Thoughts On The ‘Institution Of Marriage’

Sidharth Malhotra is definitely the most eligible bachelor in B-Town and which is why the rumour mill is in over drive about the relationship status of the Jabariya Jodi. Right from rumours about his alleged relationship with Alia Bhatt to Jacqueline Fernandez and now Tara Sutaria to Kiara Advani, Sidharth has been linked to almost every co-star.

However the Kapoor & Sons actor has denied being in relationship with any of these actresses and claims that he is still single. However, Sidharth did hint to getting hitched in the near future.

Yes, you heard that right girls! In a recent interview to Hindustan Times the 34 year old actor said, “For me, a marriage is a lot of things. I don’t stay with my folks. When I moved from Delhi to Mumbai, my friends became a support system. And when I do get married, my wife will become a support system. I really believe in the institution of marriage. I’ve seen my folks have a lovely relationship for about 40 years now. I think it’s beautiful that two people can share their lives together and start a family.”

The actor who hails from Delhi has made Mumbai his home ever since he made his debut with Student Of The Year in 2012. The actor who is now the proud owner of a sprawling property in Mumbai that he calls his home said, “It’s quite surreal to see me graduate from a one-bedroom apartment that I shared with others to my new house with many more bedrooms to myself (laughs). Life has been good.”

The actors last release Jabariya Jodi failed to hit the right note with the audiences but that has not bogged Sidharth down. The actor, who will next be seen in Marjaavaan alongside Ritesh Deshmukh concluded saying, “Our choices today have become very important. You need to choose wisely. A role may be interesting and in our zone, but one also has to see whether it is palatable. You need to realise what you’re expecting from a film. It does not matter whether a film is written for me, it’s about what you do with it when the material comes to you.”
