A minimum one-day stubble is a must to get the sighs of admiration from the ladies. Bollywood’s hunks know this and manage to keep their facial hair just right. Let’s check out how Bollywood’s men like their moustaches and beards.
Aamir Khan
There’s the clean shaven Aamir Khan who sacrificed his facial hair for that boyish look in 3 Idiots, and then there’s the tough-cop look. Aamir went from a full beard to a handlebar for the shooting of Reema Kagti’s film, in which he plays a cop. In fact, Aamir’s been sporting that look for months now. We wonder what he did for that item number in Delhi Belly. …
Salman Khan
Of all the stars to fail in the moustache look, did it have to be Salman Khan? No mincing words here – the brown (why?) muchi does nothing to make this Khan any sexier. Nothing. What do you think??
Shah Rukh Khan
If there’s one man who knows how to keep it good, it’s Shah Rukh Khan. While SRK may not have experimented with his look as much, he did grow it wild for Don 2. Fierce!
Shahid Kapoor
After Kaminey, there was no going back to the chocolate-boy image for Shahid Kapoor. We think Sasha needs to tune it a little bit more before it looks perfect on him. And the thin Mausam moustache looks just right.

It’s either the French beard for Big B or the whole thing. Amitabh Bachchan went for the “hip” look for Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap and the more headmaster-esque beard for Aarakshan.

Perhaps in an attempt to stick to his clean-boy image (at least on-screen), Ranbir Kapoor keeps the stubble to a minimum. We’ll probably get to see a more Rockstar avatar of the Kapoor boy soon!

Ajay Devgan obviously needed the whole “ferocious” look for Singham, hence the upside down smile. We do wish he had grown it in a more “twirl-able” way though! And what’s with the teensy soul patch?

You don’t need to tell a nawab how to dress. Saif Ali Khan has always managed to look dapper. And though he looks quite handsome without the beard, he has almost ditched the clean shaven look! (P.S. the Kurbaan French beard gets a no-no.)

What started as Abhishek Bachchan‘s wild look for Raavan continued (albeit, more tamed) with Dum Maaro Dum, and frankly, we’re not complaining! Looks like father-son don’t believe in keeping it clean.

While we absolutely adore Abhay in his grunge, non-shaven look, the pencil moustache is a downer. Even though the beard hides those sexy dimples, a little stubble will do no harm!
