Salman Khan & Ali Abbas Zafar Reunite Yet Again For A Biopic; To Be Set On A HUGE Canvas

Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan and celebrated filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar are all set to showcase their magic yet again on the big screen with their upcoming film Bharat. The film is slated to release on 5th June 2019 which is two days from now. Ali, during the promotions of Bharat, also confirmed that he’s working on the third part of Tiger franchise too.

Now according to Pinkvilla, the duo will be seen collaborating for yet another film and this time it might be a biopic.

Reports suggest that Ali is keen on making a biopic on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. A source revealed to Pinkvilla, “Ali wants to make a biopic on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He has always been fascinated by his life story and is keen to mount the movie on a huge scale. Although he has not started work on the same, that is one of his passion projects and he’s already discussed the idea with Salman. Even the actor is extremely excited to take it forward. But even then, the film has at least a few years to take off, for sure.”

Whey they contacted Ali for the confirmation, he said that is interested in making it and it will be a good idea to work with Salman. “Shivaji’s story is very inspirational and must be told in the truest way. I think it’s a good idea to work with Salman. But it’s not being planned right now,” he said.
