Today Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Rhea Chakraborty in her relation to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Post her arrest, she was taken for her medical test. It was also reported that a video conferencing call would be placed, for her to be present before a magistrate.
When asked Rhea, she denied consuming drugs and her brother Showik was arrested because of a similar angle. According to the latest reports coming in Rhea Chakraborty has been sent to 14 days of judicial custody. It’s also been said that bail hearing is currently in the process.
Taapsee Pannu has reacted to the news saying, “Taapsee Pannu, while reacting to a news piece, wrote on Twitter: Correction. She wasn’t consuming. Financing and procuring for Sushant. So in that case if he was alive he would’ve been put behind bars too ? Oh no. She must’ve forced the drugs onto him. Sushant must’ve been force-fed marijuana. Yes, that’s what it is exactly. We did it, guys.”

Arrested on drug-related charges, Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty’s interrogation has opened a Pandora’s box. Confronted with documentary evidence, the actress conceded she was in touch with drug peddlers who were also supplying ‘buds’ (curated marijuana) to various other Bollywood personalities including well-known actors, directors and producers, highly placed sources in the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) told IANS.
Based on the revelations made by Rhea, her brother Showik and four key drug peddlers of Mumbai, the NCB has prepared a list of more than two dozen suspects including kingpins of drug trafficking syndicates, peddlers and Bollywood personalities who were procuring drugs ranging from curated marijuana buds to high-quality cocaine. The NCB would soon launch a crackdown on the Bollywood-drug mafia nexus which runs deep in the film industry allegedly linked with underworld gangs.
