Okay! So that’s Randeep Hooda, who looks unrecognisable as Sarbjit Singh in Omung Kumar’s upcoming biopic. For Sarbjit, Randeep had to go on a starvation diet, closely supervised by his sister and a doctor and lost 18 kgs in 28 days.

Said an insider, “Hooda will be portraying a man who is suffering in jail and for that he has to look rather weak and frail.”
Omung posted a picture on his Twitter handle, ” @RandeepHooda salute to your dedication, lost 18kgs in 28 days, making a statement #Sarbjit“

The film also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Darshan Kumar and is expected to release on 19 May, 2016.
