#MeToo controversy in India stirred with Tanushree Dutta, who opened up about the alleged sexual harassment she was made to go through by Nana Patekar, 10 years back on the sets of Horn Ok Pleasss. Post the incident, several celebrities came up to support either side but looks like things aren’t working well for Tanushree in the legal terms.
After filing a case against Patekar, Ganesh Acharya & Sami Siddiqui, the police began its investigation and reportedly the case isn’t strong enough. A report by entertainment portal Bollywood Hungama revealed the same as it stated, “None of the witnesses’ stories has corroborated with Tanushree’s. They say that either they don’t remember what happened or the details in their memory are unclear.”
Moreover, actress Daisy Shah who worked as an Assistant Choreographer on the sets alongside Acharya back then has given her statement to the police and reportedly even that doesn’t match with Tanushree’s side of the story.

The actress has claimed that witnesses have turned hostile because they are either the actor’s friends who do not will to stand against him or have been threatened to not break their silence. She said despite that she is determined to make sure that she gets justice not just for her but also for everyone out there struggling with people in power exploiting their position in the industry.
