The script is not event ready said the filmmaker, who has been roped in to develop the story of Munnabhai 3.
It’s been around 2 years, since the makers – Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra – have announced the series’ third installment. Hirani had even announced that the film will go on floors, once Dutt will be out of jail.
Subhash Kapoor stated that he has not even had a discussion with Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the producer of the film, after Sanjay Dutt went to jail. He says that he hasn’t put the idea in the script & don’t know if and when the film will go on floors.
Subhash Kapoor clarified to the tabloid & said, “I have started working on the script of a sequel to my Jolly LLB (2013) instead. I should complete the script by the end of this year and take it on floors in 2016. Shooting will also take me a few months and I would be busy till it releases. I can’t confirm if and when I will start writing the third film of the Munnabhai series.”
