Kirti Kulhari has been getting bigger and better with the characters she has been portraying in films. Right from Uri to her recent outing in Mission Mangal, the actress has proved that she is here to stay. And now speaking about her latest character in Ribhu Dasgupta’s, The Girl On The Train, Kirti says that the role has got her all charged up and excited.

Further speaking about the character that she plays in the film, British Cop Aaliyah Kaur, Kirti has said, “It is one of the most thrilling parts I have ever played. I love the fact that the parts coming to me are getting me all charged up and excited. This is the kind of work I want to do.”

Kirti, who was last seen in Bard Of Blood says that she has developed a great rapport with Ribhu during the shoot of the Netflix web series. Speaking about how her bond with Ribhu landed her the part in The Girl On The Girl, Kirti revealed to PTI, “Ribhu called me for this role after we had finished Bard… and told me he had something very interesting for me. We spoke about it and I said yes. People will be very surprised to see me in the film. It’s been great collaborating with him again. We have a connect and it is great to work with Ribhu.”

Produced by Reliance Entertainment, The Girl on the Train is an official remake of the 2016 thriller of the same name, featuring Emily Blunt. The Bollywood version will see Parineeti Chopra playing the lead role and the film also features Aditi Rao Haidri and Avinash Tiwari in pivotal roles.

The film is slated for a release sometime next year!
