While fans have a lot of expectations from the Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan starrer, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, the film seems to have got into a controversy of sorts. The film’s unit, which was shooting a marriage sequence near the Taj Mahal in Agra, has run into trouble with the local authorities over the use of diesel vehicles and security guards near the Taj.
The Taj Mahal, which is maintained and protected by the Archaeological Survey of India, is a World Heritage Site. Reports suggest that the film’s unit violated rules while shooting and the a complaint has been filed with the ASI with regards to the same.

Taj Mahal, the pinnacle of Mughal architecture, was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan (1628-1658), grandson of Akbar the great, in the memory of his queen Arjumand Bano Begum, entitled ‘Mumtaz Mahal’.
