Join UsPost Dharma honcho Karan Johar announced that he will be bankrolling the sequel to the hit film Dostana, titled Dostana 2 fans of the franchise have been waiting for updates. After playing with curiosity and casting Kartik Aaryan, Jahnvi Kapoor and Lakshya, seems like the filming has begun in full swing as Kartik and Janhvi announced the commencement of the shoot.
Yesterday Kartik took to Instagram to announced the beginning of his next with Dharma Dostana 2. He wrote, “#Dostana2 Begins !!!” the actor in the supporting picture can be seen covering his face with the clapboard which reads the title of the film.
The team left for Chandigarh the day before yesterday to commence the shoot. We also saw Kartik stopping by at Karan Johar’s residence to seek his blessings as he posted a very funny picture with a funnier caption as he wrote, “Maa da laadla #Chandigarh nikal gaya
#Dostana2 !! The Dharma rivaaz that all actors need to follow before starting a Dharma film @karanjohar .”

There was also a pic of Janhvi visiting the Golden Temple with the director of the film Collin D’cunha. Also, Karan himself put up an insta story of Kartik’s clapboard picture and wrote, “The fun franchise continues! Dostana 2.”
Meanwhile the story this time is quite unique as speculations have it that Kartik and Janhvi will be seen playing siblings and both falling in love with Lakshya.
