Karisma Kapoor has stayed away from the silver screen for too long. While marriage and children may have put her Bollywood career in the backseat, Karisma is all set to make a comeback with Vikram Bhatt’s next film, Dangerous Ishq.
The film will be based on a female-oriented subject. Vikram revealed the plot of the movie on Twitter.com, “As promised Karisma’s character in Dangerous Ishq – a super model who gives up her career to marry the man she loves. Before the marriage her fiancé is kidnapped by an enemy who has been chasing her through many lifetimes…to find out who she must find out about her lives…”
While the Bhatt’s are famous for basing their movies on their real lives, looks like they’ve decided to take a page from Karisma’s life this time. The actress, who got married to industrialist Sanjay Kapur in 2003, gave up her glamorous life to settle down with her hubby and two kids.
Karisma Also In Satte Pe Satta Remake
Kareena Kapoor’s elder sister has also bagged the remake of Satte Pe Satta, where she will star opposite Sanjay Dutt. The film, which is about seven uncouth brothers and a woman who changes their lives, is to be directed by Soham Shah and produced by Shree Ashtavinayak. While the remake of Satte Pe Satta has been in the talks for long, the role played by Hema Malini in the original was offered to Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai before it finally landed in Lolo’s lap.
