Jiah Khan Suicide Case: Suraj Pancholi To Get Bail Today?

Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi’s son Suraj Pancholi, who is the prime accused in the Jiah Khan suicide case charged with abetting it, has his bail hearing in court today. Suraj is in police custody since June 11, was denied bail by a lower court following which the appeal was followed up in the High Court.

The case is holding its ground on the basis of a suicide note that the actress had left behind. Since the forensic reports on the authenticity of the note still stands dubious, in high likelihood the bail will be granted today. The debacle over the suicide notes arose when it was realized that the handwriting in the letters excavated from Suraj’s house and suicide note doesn’t match.

The defense counsel is demanding bail on the grounds that the deceased had not specifically named his client, leaving ample room for doubts. Jiah Khan and Suraj Pancholi were in a relationship for a year before the two broke up and hence Suraj is not the cause for Jiah’s suicide.
