Ekta Kapoor teams up with Bejoy Nambiar for ‘Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi’

Still riding high on the success of The Dirty Picture, soap queen Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms will now co-produce a quirky comedy film along with the Shaitaan director Bejoy Nambiar. The film has been named Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi and has a backdrop of Delhi.

An excited Bejoy tweeted on the social networking site, “HEAR HEAR! Getaway Films next production along with Balaji Telefilms – “KUKKU MATHUR KI JHAND HO GAYEE” directed by my buddy Aman Sachdeva.”

To be directed by National Award-winning ad filmmaker Aman Sachdeva, the youth-based comedy flick will see debutant actor Siddharth Gupta and beauty queen Simran Kaur Mundi in the lead roles. Kaur, who is a former Miss India, made her Bollywood acting debut last year in Jo Hum Chahein.

Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi is scheduled to release on February 22^nd, 2013.
