For a ‘fun’ scene in the film, Deepika was supposed to chase Neil Nitin Mukesh and his gang of friends with a broom and then throw a pail of water on them. However, when Deepika didn’t seem to get the scene right, Pradeep Sarkar decided to take matters in his own hands. The director demonstrated the scene by picking up a broom and beating Neil and his friends with it!
Poor Neil and his friends couldn’t say anything as everyone, including Deepika, laughed at the sight of them being spanked! Lafangey Parindey – starring Deepika Padukone as Pinky Palkar and Neil Nitin Mukesh as One Shot Nandu – releases on August 20, 2010.
