Priyanka Chopra was the apple of Vishal’s eye so far, having acted in his films Kaminey and Saat Khoon Maaf. Though Piggy Chops had a minor role opposite Shahid Kapoor in ‘Kaminey’, she got a full-fledged role with seven husbands and shared screen space with Neil Nitin Mukesh, Naseruddin Shah, John Abraham, Mohanlal and Irrfan Khan in ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’.
The stunning beauty was obviously thrilled, and tweeted, “Yes it’s true! Signed a film with Vishal Bhardwaj! I’m really really excited…he’s a genius!!” Acting with Saif won’t be a problem for Deepika; they were the hit pair in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal. This is Deepika‘s first film with Vishal Bhardwaj and we’re waiting to see how her role with this hatke director turns out.
