Join UsAfter a long-time row with Kangana Ranaut, it was just last week that the Mumbai Police lodged a rape case against Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi after a complaint was filed by a well-known actress (unknown yet). Now, the actor has filed for anticipatory bail and here’s all you need to know about it.
According to a recent report by Times Now, Aditya has filed for anticipatory bail and the hearing for the same is due tomorrow! “Actor Aditya Pancholi files for anticipatory bail; hearing tomorrow. The actor is involved in a rape case,” the report states.
It all goes back to 10 long-years as suggested by the police that the complaint is back to that time when Aditya sexually harassed a Bollywood actress.
Thereafter, Versova Police have lodged a first information report under various sections including Sections 376 (rape), 328 (causing hurt by means of poison), 384 (extortion), 341 (wrongful restraint), 342 (wrongful confinement), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code and launched a probe into the actress’ complaint.

However, Aditya had refuted all the charges in a conversation with PTI as he said, “It is a false rape case that they were planning and now they have done it. I was anticipating this. This was pre-planned as I had filed a defamation case against them. It is not a small allegation, the law will take its course, I will fight out… the truth will come out”.
Aditya Pancholi had earlier also slammed Kangana Ranaut of threatening him with a false rape case if he doesn’t take back the defamation charges filed against her. Things grew further intense as Aditya revealed a video to Times Now where Kangana’s lawyer, Rizwan Siddiqui, was seen settling the case with Pancholi and his wife in a personal conversation.
