A few months before, Shah Rukh Khan had received a notice from BMC for demolition of the ramp raised outside his Bandra Bungalow, Mannat since the construction was illegal. After a few residents even complained of it causing trouble, BMC recently demolished the same and has now sent a notice to the star claiming for the charges of demolition.
The actor had earlier too agreed to pay for the same. Shah Rukh now has to pay approximately 2 Lac rupees to the BMC under Section 489 (1) of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (MMC) Act.
BMC initiated action on the demolition of the ramp on February 13 and it was completed within two days. Since the demolition work required 35 MCGM staff, 40 labourers from outside, 6 breakers, generator sets and JCB equipment, the actor will now have to pay the charges for all these services.
