Badhaai Ho actress Surekha Sikri, who was loved for her character dadi in the film, recently won the National Award for Best Supporting actress. This is not the first time that she got a National award. She won her first National award for Tamas and for Shyam Benegal’s Mammo.
Recently, television actor Shashank Vyas, who have worked with Surekha in Balika Vadhu, visited her at her residence in Mumbai to wish for the huge victory.
The actor shared on his Instagram account and wrote, “#blessings Congratulations #surekhasikri.”

She has not been working since but she says doctors feel she will get well soon. Meanwhile, the veteran actress is not doing well and is not working since 10 months. She suffered a brain stroke few months back and she is now recovering. She has lost weight due to her condition and she looks quite weak in the above picture. She fell down in the bathroom during the shoot of a film. She got hit by minor paralysis and now she is attending physiotherapy sessions.
Well, we hope for her speedy recovery.
