The poster shows Emraan sitting in the locker room, with the jerseys of his team hanging behind along with a bag full of cash in front of him. As Azhar was accused in a match fixing scandal, this film will also highlight this point along with his cricketing career.

The trailer of this film will be launched today. Directed by Tony D’souza, Azhar is based on the life and times of one of India’s most loved cricket captains, Mohammad Azharuddin and chronicles his rise and fall as country’s most controversial sportsman yet.
The film also stars Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri and Lara Dutta. Azhar is slated to release on May 13th, 2016.
