Join UsRandeep Hooda’s ambitious project based on the Battle Of Sargarhi may have got stalled but he has an exciting line-up for sure. After bagging a role in Love Aaj Kal 2 and Hollywood film Dhaka starring Chris Hemsworth, Hooda has now grabbed Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next production.
Reportedly, apart from Inshallah, SLB is working on yet another film as a producer and Randeep Hooda has been cast in the lead role for it. The yet untitled film is a mystery thriller with comic undertones and will be directed by debutante, Balvinder Singh Janjua. Randeep will be paying the role of a cop in the film.

Mumbai Mirror quotes a source as saying, “Randeep plays a cop in the film which has a lot of twists and turns. Balwinder has been working on the script for a long time and recently started pre-production. He will start the recce shortly.”
Interestingly, Randeep has played the role of a cop in several films before. The source adds, “Randeep suits the role to the T and will begin his prep closer to the shooting date.”

Well, it will be interesting to see what’s new in the Randeep Hooda’s cop character this time.
Randeep Hooda has also signed Mira Nair’s upcoming web series which is an eight-episode adaptation of Vikram Seth’s A Suitable Boy. Talking about the same, Randeep had earlier said, “Yes, it’s true I am working with Mira after almost 19 years and looking forward to it. It’s a bit early to speak more about the series or my role.”
