The first shooting schedule of Players was completed recently in Goa. Official remake of the Hollywood film, Italian Job, it is being produced under the banners of Studio 18 and Burmawala Bros. and directed by Abbas-Mastan. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, Sonam Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sikandar Kher, Omi Vaidya, Johny Lever and Russian actor Vyacheslav Razbegaev.
The film will be shot in New Zealand and Russia in January 2011 and will be released in the second half of 2011. Story adaptation by Saurabh and Bhaskar, screenplay and dialogues by Sudip Sharma and Rohit Jugraj, music by Pritam Chakraborty, editing by Hussain A. Burmawala, action by Alan Amin and cinematography by Ravi Jadhav are the other major credits.
