Aamir Khan, who has established himself as an esteemed film personality and a philanthropist, recently secured a place at the TIME 100 Edition as one of the world’s most influential people. And now the actor has shared the dais with Microsoft Founder Bill Gates.
Bill, who was on a tour in India, made it a point to meet Khan. Bill, along with his wife Melinda run the non profit private funding institution ‘Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’ and Aamir’s humanitarian work has become a popular feat in America. Bill Gates in his blog wrote, “I’m looking forward to meeting Aamir Khan, the Bollywood star and activist. I want to hear about his work as a UNICEF ambassador for child nutrition. I also want to hear about his TV show, Satyamev Jayate (Truth Alone Prevails), which is shining a light on some critical issues facing India. And maybe, if I’m lucky, he’ll show me a few dance moves.”
On his first day at India, Bill spent a heart warming time with Aamir Khan discussing India’s development and health requirements on a popular show with veteran journalist Prannoy Roy, where the world’s richest man and popular Bollywood actor shot for an interactive question-answer set with the studio audiences.
Aamir Khan whose philanthropic work is doing wonders for his social image, will have a good receptivity for his upcoming films P.K. and Dhoom:3.
