Since years we know that songs play a very pivotal role in Hindi films, so much so that the fate of a film, to a greater extent, depends on its music album. ‘Gaane hit toh film hit!’

Well, like music composers and lyricists, singers too play a significant role to make a song a not just a song but a chartbuster.

Kanika Kapoor – Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan – Roy

After bagging Filmfare Best Singer award for ‘Baby Doll‘ in 2014, Kanika again collaborated with the same composer duo Meet Bros and Anjjan to sing this amazing party track. This foot-tapping track was crooned amazingly by Kanika Kapoor and she perfectly captured the party mood of the song.

Monali Thakur – Moh Moh Ke Dhaage – Dum Lagaa Ke Haisha

Singer Monali Thakur, who is known for her beautiful voice and had won Filmfare award for ‘Sawaar Loon‘ has given her vocal to this classical composition from Dum Laga Ke Haisha. Her mesmerizing and soothing voice connects you with the song instantly. Monali blended all the necessary elements of her voice to make this song memorable.

Jyoti Nooran – Ghani Bhawri – Tanu Weds Manu Returns

This lively song has the strong voice of singer Jyoti Nooran, which gives the perfect energy to this track. The powerful voice of Jyoti Nooran clearly expressed the emotions of the lead character portrayed during the situation in the film.

Priya Saraiya – Sun Saathiya – ABCD 2

This title track of ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo‘ is a trademark signature style song of Rajshri Productions. The desi traditional track blended well with the sweet voice of Palak Muchhal. Shreya Ghoshal – Deewani Mastani – Bajirao Mastani

Shreya Ghoshal bagged this year’s Filmfare award for best singer for this song. The astonishing voice of Shreya Ghoshal beautifully conveys Mastani’s love for Peshwa Bajirao in the film. This song is a pure treat to your eyes and ears.
