Aamir Khan has a lot of things in his hands right now. He’s got his home production, Anusha Rizvi’s  Peepli Live releasing this Friday, but he can’t attend the promotional events because he’s running a high fever. Moreover, the school he had shot in Leh for 3 Idiots was damaged in the recent flash floods that killed hundreds and destroyed property and households.

Aamir was also planning a massive online chat with his fans on a social networking site, when he came down with a bout of fever and had to postpone the chat almost thrice.

The Druk Pema School was where the climax for Aamir’s previous film was canned. A concerned Aamir wrote on his blog, “…Very shocked and distressed to hear about the school we shot in Leh for ‘3 Idiots’. Trying to get in touch with the Principal. I suppose the communications are down too.”

Later a relieved Aamir wrote, “Just spoke to a journo friend who informed me that there were no casualties in the school in Leh, which is a big relief…Just spoke with Mr. Prasad, the Principal at the school in Leh. Big relief after speaking with him. Am trying to go there.”

For the Aamir Khan who went backpacking through India’s alleys for the promotion of ‘3 Idiots’, Leh is a piece of cake, isn’t it?
